Recently moved to Ottawa from London England. Hit the 3 month mark and was craving anything and everything truly British to eat! Found this guy at Lansdowne market and bought the trial pack of 4 different flavours. So far it’s made my week, they taste just like home! I’ll be a regular customer from here on out and it was my Canadian boyfriend’s first ever pasty and now he’s addicted too.
Bought your pasties for late night party food for some friends. I haven’t had a PROPER Cornish pasty in 20 years. Everyone raved and I was transported back to a very cold rugby match in the rain where I was given my first pasty! A cherished memory indeed! Thank you for that!

These are wonderful! One pasty baked and split in two makes THE PERFECT warm lunch for my elementary age twins at school. We bake them, split them up and place them in a shallow thermos to keep warm and they stay warm and the pastry stays perfect. We make them them twice a week and the girls look forward to these days!
Ordering more – looks like we need to be stocking up. Hoping you’ll add chicken pot pie type of flavour one too. 🙂
Tried your pasties a couple of week’s ago while visiting Ottawa. They were as delicious as ones we had in Cornwall a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, we live in Kingston and a 2 hour drive is bit too much even for a great food item. We’ll be sure to stop by again.
Picked up some pasty today the kids shared a cheese and onion and me an the gf had the steak and guiness..they were absolutely amazing great job Matt can’t wait to try all the other ones I got today

Tasted my first pasty last night and am in love. Hubby and I already have a plan to bring the family to market to pick up a bakers dozen so we can try every flavour (though the steak and Guinness will be hard to beat!).
For a true, British, homemade, delicious pasty, there was nothing that could match my Mum’s….until I tried The Great British Pasty & Pie Co.’s offerings today. Once again, I was able to enjoy the wonderful flavour that I had thought was forever “lost” to me when Mum passed away 5 years ago. Thank you for warming both my tummy and my heart with your wonderful Steak & Guinness pasty today. I was in gastric heaven! Cheers!

Ate one tonight and it was delicious. Wanted to save half for another day but couldn’t resist it so i indulged and ate the whole thing.
I have bought a large quantity of pasties and my personal preferences are the Steak and Guinness and the Cornish. All varieties are good and well worth the effort , Excellent preparation, easy to serve and delicious to the consumer. Well done GBPPC.!
Steak & Guinness pie with a nice British pint makes for a great meal.
The pastry, meat and the vegetable filling are excellent.
Delicious without being overwhelming or greasy in any way, I can hardly wait to try some of the other varieties.
